Verizon is kicking off 2014 with price drops on a few of 2013′s hottest Android smartphones. The , and DROID ULTRA can now be purchased off-contract for $449, a few hundred bucks cheaper than they were last year.

That’s great news for Verizon customers who are looking to upgrade their devices, or for those who don’t want ot spend an arm and a leg on purchasing one of the devices outright. The LG G2 is one of the most powerful smartphones out there at the moment, rocking a Snapdragon 800 and a 5.2 inch 1080p screen. The HTC One packs a little less power in the processor department, but makes up for that shortcoming with Beats Audio support, Sense 5.0 and HTC’s awesome BoomSound speakers. What about the DROID ULTRA? That guy is pretty solid as well, featuring the voice command features which grace Motorola’s .

Speaking of the Moto X, that bad boy is now available off-contract for $399 on all major carriers. If you’ve got a smaller budget in mind for a new Android handset, the Verizon variant of the Moto G can be picked up for just $99 off-contract at Best Buy retail locations.
